Days 12-15...yikes, how the time flies!

Well, I'm not going to be able to fill in all of the details right at the moment, but will get it done eventually over the next few days.  We have been quite busy.  Tonight we celebrated Shabbat (the Sabbath) with a Conservative Jewish congregation and their families and it was very enjoyable.  I think Dean was a little nervous with all of the little kids running around...but it's good for him!  And it was VERY funny during the worship service when the Rabbi's son, who is six years old, held up a dart gun when his dad was facing the altar and shot a dart at him!  We Lutherans had a hard time with our reverence at that moment!  It is always good to see that kids are kids no matter where you go.  Somehow we adults lose that same kindred spirit, that sameness, as we age...probably because we get too tied up with who is right and who is wrong and forget to just enjoy each other's company!

Shabbat Shalom, my friends.

I think by now, in some time zone or other, you must have arrived at Jan 31 and are likely homeward bound. Safe travels and a few restful night of sleep to you both. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Patsy
